The Village of Sterling Ridge is one of the newer regions in The Woodlands. It’s located next to Carlton Woods, Chochran’s Crossing, Alden Bridge, and Indian Springs. Sterling Ridge encompasses a number of large parks including Cranebrook Park, Terramont Park, and Artist Grove Park. These parks count with water park facilities, skateboarding pipes, frisbee golf courses, basketball courts, and soccer fields. The Sterling Ridge shopping center provides residents of the village with access to a Kroger Signature store, Walgreens pharmacy, the luxurious Perry’s Steakhouse & Grill restaurant, Wal-Mart Supercenter at Woodlands Parkway and FM 2978, NaturalPawz upscale pet store, and more. A new branch of the YMCA is also located in the Village of Sterling Ridge. Sterling Ridge also counts with a Park and Ride located near the YMCA and public library. Schools in the area include Deretchin K-6 school, and nearby Coulson Tough K-6 and The Woodlands High School: 9th Grade Campus.

Homes in the Village of Sterling Ridge include large custom homes by some of the top custom home builders in The Woodlands. Prices range from $180k to $2 million. Homebuilding is currently underway in May Valley, a new 400-acre development in west Sterling Ridge. Terramont, the western region of the village also offers a wide variety of homes on the Gary Player signature golf course. Some other neighborhoods in Sterling Ridge include Veilwood, Player Woods, Player Oaks, Gary Glen, and Abram Woods.
